Research
Zachary first began conduction research in a joint project between the RIT School of Physics and Astronomy and the RIT Department of Computer Science in which we took an interdisciplinary look to simulate soft matter physics with a quantum annealing computer. In 2019, they were awarded a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship for this project which resulted in a publication in The Proceedings of the Tenth International Green and Sustainable Computing Conference. In 2020, they began research investigating the ability of micro-ring resonators to produce high-fidelity NOON state generatiors by utilizing the Hong-Ou-Mandel effect.
(Supersymmetry, quantum information, quantum computing)
