Research
My goal is to unravel the secrets of the Universe by developing theories, computing their predictions, and testing those predictions against data. To accelerate each step in this process, our group works at the intersection of AI and physics. We often find that concepts and challenges from physics inspire us to develop novel AI and uncertainty quantification algorithms. In our group, we design neuro-symbolic algorithms for theoretical physics problems, high-dimensional statistical inference methods for particle physics and astrophysics, and AI-powered simulations for (astro)physics.
