Research |

| Recent work has centered on the physics of ultracold gases, including
aspects of Bose-Einstein condensation and the cooling kinetics and optical properties of
ultracold atomic Fermi gases.
Assessment of methods for entanglement of atomic states, relevant to practical schemes for quantum logic and computing are under current investigation. In other recent work we have investigated the synchronization of coupled laser arrays using the methods of nonlinear |
