Directions from Atlanta Airport:
Signs in the Airport
will guide you from Baggage Claim to
the Airport MARTA train station. A one-way
transit card can purchased for $1.75
from either the window teller or
various vending machines. Helpful
MARTA personnel are available if you
need any assistance. Take the
escalator to rail platform.
Take any Northbound train and get off at N3,
North Avenue Station. (Each train car contains a map
of the train stations.)
Exit the North Avenue Station to North
Avenue. Cross West Peachtree Street and walk along
North Avenue; you will see the Coca-Cola tower (tall building
with big red "Coca-Cola" logo at the top) in
the distance--the The Midtown Hotel is next to the
Coca-Cola tower. The total distance from the North Avenue Station to
The Midtown Hotel is slightly less than 1 km. Note that as you walk along North Avenue
toward the The Midtown Hotel, you will pass the workshop site (the Wardlaw Center).

It is also possible to take a cab from the airport directly to the hotel (follow signs inside
airport to the taxi stand); however, you should note that travel by taxi is typically no faster than travel by
train; under adverse traffic conditions (a common occurence), travel by taxi can be substantially slower than
travel by train.
Driving Directions to campus:
If you are entering Atlanta from I-20 or while traveling
north on I-75 or I-85:
I-75 and I-85 merge in Atlanta to form I-75/85. (If you are on I-20,
go north on I-75/85 toward the center of Atlanta.)
Exit the I75/85 expressway at Exit 249D which is
the Spring Street and West Peachtree Street exit.
Turn left at the second light
onto West Peachtree Street.
Turn left onto North Avenue, and then follow the map to
the workshop site (Wardlaw Center) or workshop hotel (The Midtown Hotel). There is parking available near both the hotel and the
workshop site.
If you are entering Atlanta traveling south on I-75 or I-85, take the 10th Street Exit. Turn left onto 10th Street, cross over the expressway and turn right onto Spring Street. Follow Spring Street down to North Avenue, turn right onto North Avenue and then follow the map to the workshop site (Wardlaw Center) or workshop hotel (The Midtown Hotel). There is parking available near both the hotel and the workshop site.
