Our research group located within the School of Physics at Georgia Institute of Technology concentrates on research areas including BEC-BCS evolution, low-dimensional superconductors, magnetism and magnetic properties.
Under the direction of Professor Carlos Sa de Melo, student researchers in our group analyze the phase transition / crossover in two-dimensional spin polarized Fermi gases, the Antiferromagnetism / Triplet Superconductivity phase transition in quasi-1-dimensional organic superconductor, as well as examine the super colossal magnetoresistance in Magnetic / Superconducting Oxides.
