Lectures
MWF 12.05-12.55 AM, Room L5
in Physics Building
Course Outline
An outline of course topics is available here.
Grades:
1. Exams
There will be five "one-hour" exams, but only four will be used
for your grades. If you miss one you do not need any justification, the
other four quizzes will be automatically considered. If you do all five
quizzes, the best four scores will be considered. The exam dates are
indicated on the 3142 calendar. Each exam (4) contributes
12% toward the final grade. The text and solutions of the quizzes
can be found here.
2. Homework
Problem sets are due in the room L5,
usually Wednesday, indicated on the 3142 calendar.
Since the solutions will be put on the web at the end of the lecture that
day, no late homework will be accepted. The graded homework will be
returned in the lecture sections. The homework contributes 10%
toward the final grade. The text and solutions of the homework can be found
here.
3. Final
Exam - 42% (bring your ID card)
