Dave is currently involved in linear quadrupole ion trapping of triply charged thorium isotopes. He is working closely with Corey Campbell of the Kuzmich Group as well as with Michael DePalatis, Layne Churchill, and Adam Steele of Chapman Research Labs in this pursuit of excellence. When outside the of the lab, Dave is usually busy doing homework or studying for his tests. Beyond physics, he enjoys playing jazz piano in the Dave Naylor Trio in and around the Atlanta jazz scene.
