President George W. Bush has declared Friday, September 14, a "National Day of Prayer and Remembrance" for victims of Tuesday's terrorist attacks. President Bush has asked the people of the United States to mark this day with "noontime memorial services and the ringing of bells at that hour."

At Georgia Tech, the service of remembrance was held at noon on Friday at the Campanile Plaza. Many students, faculty, and staff attended to mourn.
