DESCRIPTION: Our wireless microphone system is only set up for use in Lecture Halls 1-4 (One through Four). The microphones have a base unit (with antenna) which can be clipped to one's belt or put in a pocket, plus a microphone that should be clipped to the lapel. There is one microphone available for each lecture hall.
SETUP TIME: The microphone systems are continuously maintained and are ready to go unless otherwise posted.
LOCATION: Microphones are located in the locked box on the wall of the demonstration room between lecture halls two and three. For a key, see Larry Sudduth. (Batteries are also located on a shelf inside the locked microphone box.)
SUGGESTIONS: Please ask a demonstration room staff member to show you how these work. Individual lecturers are responsible for checking the battery each time a microphone is worn and for making sure they are turned off and returned at the end of each class period.
OTHER NOTES: The receiving antennas are located at the ends of the chalkboards in the appropriate lecture hall. If you are having problems, please alert someone on the demonstration room staff!!! (Microphone maintenence is left to the lecturers unless we are otherwise notified.)
