5K10.15 Single Turn Coil Deflects Galvanometer

PURPOSE: To demonstrate induced currents in a wire

DESCRIPTION: A single turn of wire will produce a deflection of the lecture-table galvanometer if the turn of wire is whipped in and out of the poles of a so-called magnetron magnets, with a field of about 0.3 tesla.
