PURPOSE: To demonstrate DC circuit analysis.

DESCRIPTION: There is a special connecting frame which enables ordinary household light bulbs to be shown glowing (dimly) in series or (brightly) in parallel connection. Also, since the lecture halls are wired with 115-V DC, it's possible to verify Ohm's Law with a big DC meter.

SETUP TIME: Minimal.

SUGGESTIONS: CAUTION: There is some danger connected with this demonstration, because 115-V household electricity is present on un-insulated conductors which are sometiems a few centimeters from the instructor's hands.
