5F15.32 Vaporize Aluminum Strip

PURPOSE: To demonstrate DC power and energy

DESCRIPTION: A strip of aluminum can be made to vaporize (often with a flash and a pop) by hving raw 120-V AC applied across it. OR: (milder, safer version) blow a plug fuse with a dead short. Have it face the audience so they can see it.
