5F15.16 Heat Loop of Nichrome Wire

PURPOSE: To demonstrate DC power/energy.

DESCRIPTION: A loop of Nichrome wire can be heated red hot irght on the lecture table (well, just above the lecture table) with a high-current, low-voltage transformer fed by a Variac. (Howey H5-44 is convenient. Or a "sunbowl" type element.)
