5C10.21 Separation of Plates

PURPOSE: Q = CV demonstration.

DESCRIPTION: Place 1.5 V on demonstration capacitor. Gradually separate the plates. (As capacitance goes down, V goes up.) Electroscope will indicate this.

SETUP TIME: 10 min.
