5B10.25 Confetti (puffed Wheat/ Styrofoam)

PURPOSE: To demonstrate electric field effects.

DESCRIPTION: Confetti / puffed wheat / styrofoam fiels off the ball of a Van de Graaff.

SETUP TIME: Ready - but keep in mind there is clean up time involved with this demo.

OTHER NOTES: Different types of styrofoam will fly off at different levels of charge. Can also use hot wax dripping down sides of Van de Graaff dome (wax will stream along the field lines).
