PURPOSE: To demonstrate electrostatic attraction and repulsion.

DESCRIPTION: Charged rod on pivot (hanging from string). Use another charged rod (same or opposite charge) to demonstrate attraction or repulsion.

SETUP TIME: less than 5 min.
