PURPOSE: To demonstrate the conservation of energy

DESCRIPTION: This dedicated apparatus consists of a pendulum (weight on string) attached to a board with peg holes in it. No matter where the peg is placed (higher or lower or not at all in the path of the pendula), the pendulum will only swing to a certain height, indicated by a line on the board.

SETUP TIME: Minimal (it's ready to go)
