PURPOSE: To demonstrate the "advantages" of a simple machine

DESCRIPTION: "Block and tackle" system. 4 pulleys (2 lg, 2 small) allow a mass to be raised with a mechanical advantage of 4. See diagram in bottom of box for details of assembly.
