1C20.10 Guinea and Feather

PURPOSE: To demonstrate that 2 object of different mass fall at the same rate in the absence of air resistance.

DESCRIPTION: Long tube that can be evacuated with guinea and feather sealed within. Pump down, take tube into lecture hall. Turn tube upside down to show they fall at same rate. Open stopcock and show the effects of air resistance.
