THEME:
Dynamics Days is an annual conference that brings together researchers interested in nonlinear phenomena that arise in many systems in nature. This year's session will highlight dynamical problems in industrial settings and will present recent results from studies of systems drawn from engineering, finance, biology, chemistry, mathematics (including computation) and physics. The workshop will address mathematical, numerical, and experimental aspects of nonlinear dynamics and chaos; pattern formation; turbulence; and related topics. This year's workshop will highlight dynamical problems in industrial settings and will present recent theoretical and experimental progress on dynamical systems involving some aspects of engineering, finance, biology, chemistry, mathematics (including computation) or physics. Participants include engineers, mathematicians, biologists, physicists, and scientists from many other fields with interests in nonlinear dynamics.
Contributed oral and poster communications form a large part of the meeting. Talks will be 15 minutes each, including discussion. To be considered for an oral presentation, abstracts must be received by the organizers by November 30. Notifications of abstracts for oral presentations will be sent out December 15. No limit will be placed on the number of posters.
