Teaching Physics to High Risk Students Daniel Budny Associate Professor Dept. of Civil & Environmental Engineering University of Pittsburgh In this discussion we will explore a method of teaching developed at Purdue University to address the needs of the engineering students that were having problems completing the first semester physics course. An explanation of this course design along with a assessment of the student performance will be presented.
