Accessing MasteringPhysics™

You will need to Register for MasteringPhysics before you can access the homework.

• If you have registered for MasteringPhysics in the past, just go to the MasteringPhysics page and log in with your old User ID and Password.

• If you have not registered for MasteringPhysics previously, go to the MasteringPhysics page.
• If you purchased an access code with your text, click on the REGISTER button, otherwise click on the BUY NOW button to obtain access.
• Choose your own User ID and Password.
• Use this Course ID:

• Use your nine-digit Georgia Tech ID number for your student ID.
  (Please do NOT use your seven-letter prism alphanumeric–e.g. "gtz000z".)

Note that you cannot change your Course ID or Student ID once you have submitted them. Please type very carefully! If you do make an error, please contact Dr. Jarrio for assistance.

Cautionary Note: Registering more than one account for the homework system is not allowed. Using two accounts will be considered a violation of the Honor Code; students doing so will be referred to the Office of Student Integrity.
