Studying for the Final
The formula sheet for the final exam has been posted. It is available here. No old final exam is posted nor will one be posted. This is to discourage you from studying material that wasn't empahsized in the course this semester. If you are looking for additional problems or worked examples to study, please look at all posted PRS Quizzes, Lab Quizzes and Test Solutions. In addition, the text is an excellent resource. Rereading difficult sections is useful as well as working the exercises in the text (labeled, Chapter Number.X.Exercise Number). Best of luck.

Test 4 has been graded. Scores are available on WebAssign under the My Grades link. Solutions to the exam are available under the solutions tab of the site menu or by clicking here. The final exam is Monday, April 28th. The locations are posted here. Conflicts must be email to the course administrator, Dr. Ed Greco, ASAP.

Test 3 is available for pickup in the usual location, lower hallway outside the classroom. Test 4 will be held Tuesday, April 15th. The exam will cover Ch 20 and Ch 21. This is the last regular exam before the final exam. Final Exam conflicts must be submitted by email to the course administrator, Dr. Ed Greco, no later than next Wednesday, April 16th.

Lecture notes on solving macroscopic circuit problems are available on Prof. Jim Gole's notes section. These notes are very thorough and discuss in great detail the method for solving circuit problems. This material is fair game for Test 3. All students are encouraged to review this material. It is available here.

After Spring Break, all homework will be due at 8:35am on the day that it is due. This starts with the homework due on March 26th. In addition, Test 3 occurs on April 1 at the regular time, NOT March 26th as previously posted. Have a fun and safe Spring Break.

A participation log is available for each section. The file is under Lecture Notes and is different for each professor. The log is stored based on the last 5 digits of your GTID number. leading zeroes are removed. A 1 in a column means a PRS response was recorded for that day. A 0 means that no PRS response was recorded that day. Please read the guidelines for particpation grades under Course Policies.

Graded tests are available in the hallway outside the lower double doors of L2. The tests are alphabetized by last name and located in bins marked with the first letter of your last name.

Course Grades are now available on WebAssign. All grades (Labs, Quizzes and Exams) will appear on WebAssign from now on. To see your grades, login into WebAssign. From the home page, click "My Grade" on the bottom left corner of the page.

Practice problems for Test 1 (and their solutions) have been posted on the Test Preparation page. These practice problems are taken from tests in this course in previous semesters. They do not represent the exact problems you will be given. Also, the number of practice problems is not necessarily the same number that will be on the test. They are only meant to represent the possible topics you may see on the test.

Class Policy on Extensions
Extensions for labs, quizzes and homeworks will only be granted for excused absences or illnesses as documented
in the syllabus regarding test makeups. The syllabus clearly states that a homework assignment is due every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Lab assignments must be completed in the lab room. This includes turning all lab materials and solutions to WebAssign. Extensions will not be granted to students forgetting to turn in WebAssign materials and solutions after the lab period.
