Getting VPython for your computer

VPython is a programming language, based on the Python language, that we will use in this course for computer modeling.  It is free, open source software which you can download and install on your own computer. It is available for Windows, Mac OSX, and Unix/Linux operating systems.

To get VPython, go to the VPython web site, vpython.org, and click "Downloads." Choose the appropriate operating system, and follow the download and installation instructions carefully.
