LABORATORY AND RECITATION:
The Labs and the Recitation start the week of January 15th this semester. Lab is a course requirement and all students (except the ones with explicit permission) must attend. You should go to the physics lab web page, http://www.physlab.gatech.edu/physlab/labpolicies.html, and read all of the policies and administrative pages for your lab before the first meeting.
The
Recitation attendance is not required but highly advised. The Recitation gives
the opportunity to have discussions in smaller groups under the guidance of a
TA, along with the coverage of the background material.
Please
note that: (1) exemptions are only allowed for students retaking the class
after making a prior 'D"; and (2) exemptions should
be requested by the end of business on Wednesday, January 10th.
