Questions About Grading? |
|
|
From time to time, I expect that some of you will have questions about
the grading of your homework or exams. As always, if you have questions,
I expect you to ask them. However, since we have such a large class, I
need you to follow this procedure:
- Attach to your graded assignment a separate page. On this page
write your name and describe as clearly as possible your question.
It is not necessary to write a long explanation, but it is important
that you are specific enough that I can understand your meaning just
by reading the note.
- Give me the assignment plus the attached note. I will judge the
situation myself if I can; otherwise, I will hand it to the grader
for a decision.
- I will keep the note (so I remember to adjust the grade as
needed), and hand back your original paper.
- At this point, if you still want to talk about it, you and I can
discuss the matter further.
